Arrive at the Victoria Falls Airport, our local representative will meet you and you will then be transferred to Ilala Lodge, located in the heart of Victoria Falls town. You can visit the magnificent fall at leisure over the next two days.The Victoria Falls is located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe. While it is not the highest or the widest waterfall in the world, it is perhaps the largest. The width of the falls is about 1,708 metres and it is about 108 metres high, forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world. The Falls were named after Queen Victoria by David Livingstone, a Scottish missionary who is said to be the first European to see the Falls. The indigenous name – ‘ Mosi-oa-Tunya’ literally translates to mean ‘Cloud that Thunders’. Tumbling cascades of water that throw moisture far into the air ensure a cool walk through the bush and breathtaking views of the fall.
Victoria Falls offers many exciting activities like bungee jumping, white water rafting, boat cruises and African market shopping (optional activities not included in tour cost).
Ilala Lodge Hotel is ideally situated on the Zimbabwean side of the mighty Zambezi river, where it is the closest hotel to Victoria Falls. Wild animals often graze on the hotel lawns and restaurant diners can see the spray of the falls in the background while they enjoy some of Zimbabwe's finest cuisine in Ilala's Palm Restaurant. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with separate showers, air conditioning, and other modern facilities.
On the third day, you will be driven from Victoria Falls to Kasane Chobe Safari Lodge. Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in Kasane town on the banks of Chobe River and shares a border with Chobe National Park. Right on your doorstep is the meeting of four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Along with many species of big game, Chobe National Park boasts of the largest concentration of elephants in Africa, and the game drives and boat cruises offer visitors the opportunity to witness this amazing spectacle.
This lodge has 90 rooms and you will be staying either in the River or Safari Rooms, with en suite bathrooms, TV and air-conditioning. There is a swimming pool, buffet restaurant and activities center where you can book your daily activities.
Along the Chobe riverfront, the terrain is that of a typical riverine ecosystem. Away from the river you will find mixed miombo and broadleaved woodland that harbours rich avifauna. Northern Chobe is famous for its huge elephant & buffalo herds, pukus, kudus, Chobe bushbucks and hippos as well as diverse bird life. Also spot lions, leopards, wild dogs, giraffes, waterbucks, zebras, and impalas.
On Day 5, fly from Kasane Airport by light aircraft into the Okavango Delta for 2 nights.
Moremi Crossing Camp is situated on a beautiful palm dotted island overlooking the Chief's Island. Moremi Crossing offers guests a traditional safari experience with emphasis on walking and water based activities including rides in boats and mokoros. There are no game drives at Moremi Crossing due to its Island location. The camp focuses on guest comfort with simplicity.
The main building consists of a large open plan deck offering magnificent views over the Boro River. Accommodation consists of 16 en suite and spacious tents on raised decks, each with their own veranda. Dining is communal.
Fly from Moremi Crossing to Pom Pom private concession in the west of the Okavango Delta, via light aircraft. Pom Pom offers its guests a traditional safari experience and the emphasis is on a personalized service combined with fantastic game viewing opportunities and expert guiding.
The Camp is located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta and on the headwaters of the Xudum river system. Accommodation consists of nine luxury safari tents in true traditional safari style, all with full en suite facilities and overlooking the Pom Pom lagoon. The tents are uniquely positioned under the shade of the surrounding trees. The main building is constructed of thatch and canvas and comprises a lounge, communal dining area, bar and pool areas, as well as a gift shop.

Requires a spirit of adventure and some degree of fitness, as the trip might consist of many activities or long journeys.
