Explore Okavango Delta and its varied wildlife through mokoro rides, guided game and bird walks, sunset motorboat cruises, and island camping! Stay at the luxurious Moremi Crossing.
Your adventure starts with stunning areal views of the impressive Okavango Delta, as you fly in to Maun Airport. From here, travel to Moremi Crossing, your home for the next two nights, to check in and get some rest. As this is a water-based camp, you will arrive here either by mokoro or boat.
Moremi Crossing is located on Ntswi Island near the most southern part of Chief’s Island. The whole camp is shaded by Llala palms, giant ebony, mangosteen, and giant fig trees. It provides luxury accommodation in 16 spacious vintage en-suite safari tents, each with its own private wooden deck offering beautiful views over Boro River and Chief’s Island.
Spend the next two days discovering one of the world’s largest inland deltas—Okavango Delta. Some of the commonly spotted animals here include African bush elephant, African buffalos, hippopotamuses, white and black rhinoceroses, giraffes, Nile crocodiles, lechwes, Topis, blue wildebeests, and predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, brown hyenas, and spotted hyenas.
Moremi Crossing offers half or full day mokoro rides, guided game and bird walks, sunset motorboat cruises, and island camping. All these activities give you a chance to experience wildlife up close. You can even visit Chief’s Island to spot lions, leopards, wild dogs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and red lechwes.
Go on open vehicle game drives in Moremi and Khwai concession area, guided bush walks, mokoro rides, and exciting night game drives! Stay in the intimate Sango Safari Camp.
Enjoy one last early morning activity (walk/drive/boat ride) at the camp before proceeding to your next destination, Khwai Community Area. Take a flight from Maun Airport to Khwai Airstrip and transfer to Sango Safari Camp, your home for the following two nights.

The Khwai River forms a natural border between Moremi Game Reserve and Khwai Concession allowing animals to travel freely through this vast unfenced wilderness. Spend your time here partaking in activities like open vehicle game drives in Moremi and Khwai concession area, guided bush walks, and mokoro rides. As Khwai is a private concession, you also get the advantage of going on night drives in the wild!
After a final morning activity, proceed to Kasane Airport by light aircraft, and then on to Kubu Lodge near Chobe National Park by road. Kubu Lodge is a small, privately owned and run lodge set on 30 hectares of riverine forest on the banks of the Chobe River, on the doorstep of the world famous Chobe National Park. It is only an hour away from the mighty Victoria Falls.
Shaded by giant ebony and wild fig trees, Kubu Lodge offers panoramic views of the Chobe River. Stay here in one of eleven charming thatched chalets on stilts with full en-suite facilities. The main lodge facilities include a bar, restaurant, curio shop, and a secluded swimming pool. There is also a nature trail for bird watching enthusiasts. Spend the next two days going on game drives into Chobe National Park and boat cruises on the Chobe River.
Chobe National Park is famous for its huge elephant population and buffalo herds, pukus, kudus, Chobe bushbucks, and hippos as well as diverse bird life. Also spot lions, leopards, wild dogs, giraffes, waterbucks, zebras, and impalas here.
See the largest waterfall in the world—Victoria Falls, and explore the beautiful surrounding area. Go on nature walks and game drives, or if you want adventure, go bungee jumping, and white water rafting (optional extras). Stay at the comfortable A’Zambezi River Lodge.
Discover a whole new landscape today as you travel to A‘Zambezi River Lodge near the mighty Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe. While it is not the highest or the widest waterfall in the world, it is perhaps the largest. The width of the falls is about 1,708m and it is about 108m high, forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world. The Falls were named after Queen Victoria by David Livingstone, a Scottish missionary who is said to be the first European to see the Falls. The indigenous name – "Mosi-oa-Tunya" literally translates to mean "Cloud that Thunders".
Located just four kms upstream of Victoria Falls, A’Zambezi River Lodge lies on the banks of Zambezi River within the periphery of Zambezi National Park. It offers comfortable accommodation in 88 en suite rooms that afford views of Zambezi River. There are two restaurants here including “Amulonga”, a buffet and à la carte restaurant where you can enjoy authentic open-air dining, garden breakfasts, and riverside lunches. Live African music and dancing will keep you entertained while dining al fresco. Then choose to relax by the swimming pool or at the spa.
You can enjoy many different optional activities here (not included in tour price) apart from visiting Victoria Falls, of course. Go on game drives, nature walks, visit the snake and crocodile farm, or play golf. If you’re craving adventure, go white water rafting, bungee jumping, elephant back riding, horseback riding, and even take a walk with lions!
After eight days of excitement, your Botswana safari ends today as you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your journey home.
Requires a spirit of adventure and some degree of fitness, as the trip might consist of many activities or long journeys. These adventures involve walking, trekking, hiking, cycling, rafting, sea kayaking, or driving for long hours, at times for up to six to eight hours a day at a steady pace.
