Our Kanha and Bandhavgarh tiger tour starts as we depart at 9 a.m for Bandhavgarh from our designated departure point. We aim to reach sometime in the afternoon and have lunch. This will be followed by a safari in Bandhavgarh National Park. We return to the lodge at dusk and end the day with dinner.
Bandhavgarh is best known for having the highest density of Tigers in India. However, the beauty of its forests also lies in the rich wildlife that lives within it – Leopard, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer and many more. The park also has a rich variety of birdlife. You are likely to spot beautiful species of Egrets, Hornbills, Kingfishers, and Eagles that are endemic to the region.

Your tiger safari in India and tryst with Bandhavgarh continues on day two. We head out on an early morning safari and return to the lodge for breakfast. You can relax until after lunch when we will head into the wilderness once more till dusk.
Today, after an early breakfast we head for Kanha National Park (approx 6 hours drive). Lunch will be served after checking in at the lodge. This will be followed by an afternoon safari in Kanha National Park, from which we return at dusk. We advise you to get enough rest today as the next day begins early and is packed!
Kanha National Park is a beautiful reserve that is rich in wildlife. It encompasses lush meadows, thick forests and water bodies. As you enter, the subtle fragrance of the Sal forest and the incessant sound of cicada will captivate you. Kanha is home to the rare hard-ground Barasingha or Swamp Deer. You might also see spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Langurs, Leopards and Dholes (Wild Dogs).

Our exploration of Kanha National Park continues on days four and five. We will begin the day with an early morning safari. Picnic breakfast will be carried along. We will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we head into the wilderness once more until dusk. During your stay in Kanha, you will get a taste of the local culture in the form of the foot-tapping Baiga tribal dance.
In addition, if there is time we will drive to Bahmni Dadar – the highest point in Kanha. It offers a panoramic view of the entire National park.
We will begin with an early morning game safari and picnic breakfast in Kanha. We return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will head into the wilderness of Kanha National Park once more until dusk.
Your Indian wildlife tour ends today after a leisurely breakfast, as we drive back to Jabalpur.
