Today we head for the airport to board a flight and travel to Khajuraho. This is where several famous and unique Hindu and Jain temples are located.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Khajuraho’s temples are known for their erotic sculptures. Despite their sensual nature, these temple engravings are of great symbolic importance and there have been many interpretations of their existence. These unique sandstone temples were built without any mortar and are architectural wonders. We will wind up in the evening and return to the hotel.

After an early breakfast, we depart from Khajuraho and travel to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx 4.5 hours drive), where we will be based for the next three nights and start our Tiger Safari Holiday! We reach in the afternoon and go on a game drive into Bandhavgarh National Park after lunch. The game drive acquaints you to the park's environment and familiarizes you with the area, which will help you in exploring the park over the next two days. We return to the lodge at dusk, where dinner awaits you.
Bandhavgarh is known for its high density of Tigers. However, the beauty of its forests also lies in the rich wildlife that lives within it – Leopard, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer and many more.

The next two days are on safaris in Bandhavgarh for extensive exploration and sighting several animals including the Tiger!
A game drive at dawn begins the day on an early note. Dawn is an ideal time for birdwatching and sighting of deer and several mammals. Breakfast awaits at the lodge after the game drive. You can relax till after lunch. A game drive in the late afternoon is scheduled. Late afternoons and evenings are a good time to sight animals, and for birdwatching. Photographers have ample opportunity to click great pictures. We return to the lodge at dusk.

Today, after an early breakfast we head for Kanha National Park (approx 6 hours drive). Kanha is our base for the next three days. We check-in at the lodge and go on an afternoon safari into Kanha National Park after lunch. The first Kanha game drive will give you a glimpse of the forest. The forest, made up of Sal trees interspersed with meadows, is home to several animals. We head back to the lodge at dusk. We advise you to get enough rest today as the next two days begin early and are packed!
Kanha National Park is a beautiful reserve that is rich in wildlife. It encompasses lush meadows, thick forests and water bodies. As you enter, the subtle fragrance of the Sal forest and the incessant sound of cicada will captivate you. Kanha is home to the rare hard-ground Barasingha or Swamp Deer. You might also see spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Langurs, Leopards and Dholes (Wild Dogs). If there is time, we will drive to Bahmni Dadar – the highest point in Kanha. It offers a panoramic view of the entire National park.

Our exploration of Kanha National Park will continue on safaris in Kan next two days. We begin both these exciting days with early morning game drives and picnic breakfasts. We start on the safari at dawn, as it is an ideal time to spot animals and watch out for birds.
We head to the lodge for lunch and then back into the wilderness for more action! Afternoon game drives are an opportunity to sight animals as they come out to waterholes at the end of the day. We return to the lodge at dusk when the park closes for the day.

Today, after an early breakfast, we bid farewell to Kanha and travel to Pench National Park. This is a drive of approximately 5 hours and we try to reach around noon in time for lunch. After lunch, we set out on an afternoon game drive into Pench National Park, until dusk.
The beautiful Pench Tiger Reserve is nestled in the southern part of the Satpura Hills and is named after the Pench River that flows through it. In addition to Tigers, the area is famous for large herds of Gaur (Indian Bison), Chital, Sambar, Nilgai, Wild Dog, and Wild Pig.

An early morning safari in Pench, with picnic breakfast, starts the day. Watch the mist disappear amidst the teak trees and sight herds of Deer begin their day grazing the meadows. We return to the lodge and relax a while till lunch, after which we go on an afternoon game drive in Pench National Park.
The park is home to more than 170 species of birds and many of these can be easily sighted. Afternoons are perfect for photographers looking out to shoot great pictures. A delicious dinner will be waiting for you after you get back from the park.

Today we leave Pench and drive for about 7 hours to Satpura National Park. Packed breakfast will be carried along. A stop will be made en-route at Tamia ridge, which gives us a panoramic view of the Satpura Range. After check-in at our lodge, you are free to spend the day relaxing or exploring your surroundings. We may go on a nature walk if there is time.
The rugged yet scenic terrain of Satpura National Park consists of deep valleys, high mountains, rivulets, and waterfalls. This 524 square kilometer park is home to animals such as the Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear and Wolf. The park's northern end is bordered by the Tawa Dam, where one can spot birds such as Black Eagles and Hornbills.

We explore Satpura's wilderness on safaris over the next two days. Both days begin with an early morning game drive at dawn. We maximize our chances of spotting animals by going on both morning and afternoon drives. We head to the lodge after our morning drive and relax until lunch. We set out to explore the Satpura once more in the afternoon. This is an ideal time to spot birds and the landscapes of the park provide for a perfect photo opportunity.

We leave Satpura early in the morning and head for Bhopal airport(approx 3.5 hours drive) to board a flight to Delhi ( approx 1.5 hours flight).

Our wildlife tour of central India ends in Delhi if there is time you can spend the final day exploring Delhi before heading for the airport to catch your flight back home.
